You did it babe! You gave birth! Everyone’s birthing story is different, & we’re here to help you in the fourth trimester. The trimester of healing, as well as; emotional & physical changes. A time where you’re adjusting to becoming a parent & baby is adjusting from being in your womb to being in your arms. This blend of herbs is to soothe & reduce inflammation in the perineal area. Assisting with potential tears or hemorrhoids. Even if you had no tearing, the perineal area is still generally tender & swollen whether you gave vaginal birth or had a cesarean.

Though baths are not recommended if you’ve had a cesarean, a sitz bath may help with any inflammation or tenderness you may be experiencing around your perineal area. Making sure to avoid soaking your incision area.

So lets talk about the different ways you can utilize these herbs postpartum

This bag contains 7-8 baths with multiple ways to utilize the herbs!

Sitz Bath- Get a quart sized jar & add 3tbs of the herbs. Boil water & then add the water into your jar. Cover the jar with a lid. I recommend letting it steep for thirty minutes to an hour (overnight would be ideal). Strain the herbs & set aside. Add the infusion to your bath tub. Making sure it’s shallow enough to not over dilute, but deep enough to where you perineum is submerged. Soak in the bath for 20-45 minutes. You can also add a quarter cup of sea salt to the bath as well. I would do this every day for the first two weeks, & every other day for the remainder of the first month.

Padsicles- Reserve some of the tea you made for your sitz bath. Take your organic cotton maternity pads & pour the tea across the top of each one. Once you’re done evenly distributing your tea amongst the pads, place them side by side in a large enough tupperware & place them in the freezer. Once they’re nice & cool, place them in your sexy adult diaper for sweet soothing relief.

Peri Bottle- Remember when i said set the herbs aside after you made an infusion for your sitz bath? Take those same herbs & reuse them. Put them in a jar & pour boiling water in the jar. (You can use fresh herbs if you desire) Let it infuse for 30 minutes or until the next day. Strain & either compost the herbs or scatter them outside. Giving thanks for the relief & healing they have provided. Pour the infusion into your peri bottle & spray over your perineal area as you urinate. This will help with stinging & inflammation.

Ingredients: Calendula, Uva Ursi, Plantain, Comfrey, Lavender, Marshmallow Root, Chamomile & Yarrow
